The airsoft AEG cylinder head is a block placed at the end of the airsoft AEG cylinder to route the air pressure pushed by the piston assembly and main spring into the hop-up chamber and inner barrel. It is situated at the front end inside the airsoft gearbox shell and can use a single or multiple rubber o-rings for sealing.
In case a bore-up cylinder is used, a matching bore-up cylinder head should be installed as well. Bore-up describes that the cylinder head and cylinder bores are wider in diameter to accommodate a slightly larger capacity of air in the action.
