The cut off lever is a pivoting component that is found inside an airsoft automatic electric gun’s gearbox. It forms a connection between the trigger trolley in the trigger switch assembly and the cam on the sector gear. This is a crucial component that allows the semi-auto fire function.
When the cam lobe or hook on the sector gear trips the cut off lever it pivots and lifts the trigger trolley off the trigger which then cuts out the circuit. Thanks to the cut off lever, the semi auto function can be implemented.
